Three things to play with: the dry run (can this device cook this recipe?), the envelope explorer (when does a simmer stop being a simmer?), and four simulators that show the protocol on and off. Nothing here is a real device; everything runs on your machine.
Dry run: can this device cook this recipe?
Nine recipes, five device presets, or build your own device from operations, sensors and vision cues. The result is a link you can share.
Build your own device
| Step | Operation | Safe band | Who | Checked by |
|---|
Try koshari on the device without thermometers: the crisp onions need deep frying, and deep frying has one rung, an oil thermometer. Try salata baladi on the counter arm: no heat, so the arm does the cutting with its camera.
Envelope explorer: when does a simmer stop being a simmer?
Pick an operation and drag the points of a temperature trace. The checker is the same function the conformance vectors test: the warm-up is allowed, then the medium must stay inside the band; a recipe target, once reached, must hold. Water bands shift with altitude.
Simulators, explained for non-experts
Four deterministic models, each playable with the protocol on and off, each labelled illustrative model. They do not predict the future; they show what follows from the assumptions written on each page, and every assumption can be changed.
A home
A family asks a robot for dinner. Watch the request travel through providers, approvals, interruptions and a closure; switch the protocol off and see the same evening with the robot alone.
Play →Two cities, one month
Farms, a wholesale hub, shops, 1,500 homes per city, trucks, garbage and energy. Robots alone push waste upstream; with shared plans, losses before homes fall.
Play →One country, one year
Six provinces adopting at different speeds, seasons, a relief program. Rescue covers about 5 % of need in the mixed rollout: real, and not enough.
Play →The world, five years
Ten regions, three robot scenarios, protocol on or off. Hunger is where robots are not; the protocol helps countries without robots.
Play →How to read them: a result is a difference between two runs of the same model, not a measurement of the world. The city and country pages list calibration against UNEP and FAO figures and every behavioural assumption. What the simulators found, including what they got wrong.
Food rescue by SMS
The Humanitarian Profile walkthrough: type the messages a food bank would send and watch the documents, the rule findings and the impact summary appear.

Everything on this page is a function in the reference library. The quickstart runs the same checks in a terminal; the MCP server gives them to an AI agent.
