Original steps

  1. Mix the butter and sugar until creamy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla and stir.
  3. Add the flour a little at a time.
  4. Knead with your hands into a smooth ball.
  5. Roll out the dough until it is as thick as your little finger.
  6. Press out stars, hearts and animals with the cutters!
  7. Put them on the tray and add sprinkles.
  8. A grown-up bakes them at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
  9. Let them cool for 15 minutes before eating.
