Original steps

  1. Put the flour, sugar and baking powder in the bowl.
  2. Add the soft butter and milk.
  3. Knead with your hands into a smooth dough that does not stick.
  4. Roll the date paste into tiny balls.
  5. Flatten a ball of dough, put a date ball in the middle and close it up.
  6. Stamp the top with a kahk stamp, or draw lines with a fork.
  7. A grown-up bakes them at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
  8. Once cool, dust them with powdered sugar like snow!
