Original steps

  1. Pour 1 cup of the cold milk into the pot.
  2. Add the cornstarch and sugar.
  3. Whisk well until the cornstarch disappears.
  4. Add the rest of the milk.
  5. A grown-up cooks it on low heat, stirring until thick.
  6. The grown-up stirs in the vanilla and pours it into cups.
  7. Chill for 2 hours until set.
  8. Decorate with pistachios, strawberries and sprinkles however you like!
