Original steps
- Soak the Baladi bread in a little water until soft, then squeeze it thoroughly to remove all excess water.
- Mix the bread well with the ground beef, then season with salt and pepper.
- Grate the onion and squeeze it thoroughly to remove the liquid, using only the grated pulp; mix it well into the meat, then add the eggs (depending on the consistency of the mixture) along with the minced garlic and parsley, and knead well.
- Form into small balls, then flatten them into discs.
- Lightly coat the discs in breadcrumbs first, then use a brush to coat both sides with egg.
- Fry in oil until golden brown.
