Original steps
- Dissolve the yeast in warm water with a little sugar, cover, and let it rise.
- Add the oil to the flour, then knead with water until a cohesive dough of the desired consistency forms; add the yeast and knead well.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a floured surface, then cut into appropriate pieces using a round or square cutter.
- Fill each piece with the spinach mixture, adding the minced meat to the filling if available, then fold the piece carefully.
- Grease a baking tray with oil, arrange the pies in the tray, brush the tops with oil, and bake in a medium-heat oven until the tops are golden brown.
