Original steps
- Whisk one egg in a deep bowl with a pinch of vanilla thoroughly.
- Place the slice of toast in the mixture and let it soak for a moment, then carefully flip it to the other side until the egg is fully absorbed.
- Heat the butter or ghee in a small non-stick pan, carefully place the toast in the pan over low heat, and flip carefully until both sides are golden without burning.
- Prepare a plate sized to the toast and sprinkle it with powdered sugar, place the toast on the plate, and sprinkle more powdered sugar on top.
- Nuts, raisins, coconut, or grated chocolate can be added over the powdered sugar.
- The toast can also be garnished by melting apricot jam with a little water over low heat, then mixing in finely chopped fruits like apples, pears, or dates with a little butter, and pouring the mixture over the toast; alternatively, garnish with caramel, grated chocolate with chopped fruit or ice cream, or cook apples with cinnamon and sugar and pour the sauce over the toast.
This is a V0 document: the original ingredients and steps from fifi.cooking, with quantities parsed from the text where possible. No step has been classified, measured or verified, so a device assigns every step to a person and refuses to cook it alone (RFC-0009). It becomes V1 when a reviewed process graph replaces the steps.
