  1. Sort the wheat and wash it thoroughly, then soak it in a bowl of water for about 6 hours or more, then drain the soaking water.
  2. Place the wheat in a pot with water and bring to a boil, then lower the heat until the wheat is completely tender, adding more water as needed.
  3. Sweeten with sugar and serve hot.
  4. Alternatively, sweeten with sugar and add hot milk along with the piece of butter.
