Original steps

  1. Melt the ghee in a pot, add the flour, then remove from heat and stir well with a wooden spoon.
  2. Place back on low heat for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat again and pour in the boiling milk all at once, whisking rapidly.
  4. Return the pot to the heat on low, stirring constantly for 5 to 7 minutes until it reaches a boil and the flour is cooked, then sweeten with sugar.
  5. Once the sauce has cooled, add the egg yolks and vanilla and mix well.
