Original steps
- Mix the flour, salt, and baking powder together.
- Place the water in a pot with the ghee or butter and bring to a boil, then add the flour one cup at a time.
- Continue stirring over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Add the eggs one by one, kneading by hand until the dough comes together smoothly.
- Cut into appropriate sizes, deep-fry in hot oil until golden, then remove and soak in cold simple syrup.
