Original steps

  1. Heat the ghee and add the flour and kahk flavoring (or vanilla); stir over low heat until the flour turns golden, then add the sesame seeds until golden, then remove the pan from the heat.
  2. Gradually add the honey while stirring well, then return the pan to the stove, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with vanilla if using, then set aside to cool.
