Original steps

  1. Pour the hot caramel into the baking pan and let it cool until it sets.
  2. Gradually pour the crème caramel mixture over the hardened caramel.
  3. Carefully pour the cake batter over the crème caramel and prepare a water bath.
  4. Bake in a medium-heat oven until cooked through, then let cool before flipping onto a serving plate.
  5. Garnish with whipped cream around the edges, fresh fruit in the center, and jam over the whipped cream.
