Original steps
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
- Beat the egg whites thoroughly after adding 3 teaspoons of water.
- Whisk the yolks well in a bowl, then add them to the beaten whites in a mixer along with the sugar, beating the mixture well until the sugar dissolves.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it gradually to the mixture, alternating with the milk until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Grease the pan with ghee and lightly dust with flour, then pour the cake batter into it and bake in a medium-heat oven until done.
- Once removed from the oven, let it cool, then cut it in half using a long knife.
- Moisten the first half with a little sugar-sweetened milk, fruit syrup, or lemon-lime soda, making small holes with a fork so the liquid penetrates without collapsing the cake.
- Pour the cream over the first half of the cake, let it cool, then arrange the chopped fruit on top.
- Place the second half of the cake on top and lightly pierce the surface to soak it with any type of liquid.
- Prepare white whipped cream or add cocoa to make it chocolate-colored, then spread it evenly over the surface of the cake.
- Garnish to taste with either finely chopped chocolate, nuts, or more fruit.
This is a V0 document: the original ingredients and steps from fifi.cooking, with quantities parsed from the text where possible. No step has been classified, measured or verified, so a device assigns every step to a person and refuses to cook it alone (RFC-0009). It becomes V1 when a reviewed process graph replaces the steps.
