Ingredients

- Melted butter¾ cup melted butter

Original steps
- A grown-up melts the butter in the microwave.
- Put the semolina, flour and sugar in the bowl.
- Add the melted butter and milk.
- Knead with your hands into a soft dough.
- Roll the date paste into small balls.
- Wrap each date ball in a piece of dough.
- Press it into the maamoul mould and tap it out, or draw lines with a fork.
- A grown-up bakes them at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
- Once cool, dust them with powdered sugar.
