Original steps

  1. After sorting and washing the split fava beans, place them in a pot with enough water to cover them; bring to a boil for 5 minutes, then drain the water.
  2. In a pot, add more water along with the thinly sliced onions, celery, mint, and the soaked fava beans.
  3. Cook over low heat without stirring, adding water whenever necessary, until the beans are completely soft and broken down.
  4. Once cooled, blend the mixture in a blender and pass it through a fine-mesh strainer.
  5. Return the pot to the heat, add salt and mint, and let it simmer while stirring continuously over low heat, adding a little water if needed until the consistency is right and not too thin.
  6. Pour the fried onion garnish (ta'leya) over the bissara and stir, then serve in bowls garnished with the remaining fried onions.

This is a V0 document: the original ingredients and steps from fifi.cooking, with quantities parsed from the text where possible. No step has been classified, measured or verified, so a device assigns every step to a person and refuses to cook it alone (RFC-0009). It becomes V1 when a reviewed process graph replaces the steps.
