Original steps

  1. Boil a sufficient amount of water with added salt and vinegar, then add the pasta; leave the pot uncovered until cooked, then drain.
  2. Heat the ghee or oil and sauté the onion until golden, then add the tomato juice or tomato paste and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice or vinegar.
  3. Once the tomato sauce has cooked, add the finely chopped pepper and stir a couple of times.
  4. Add the boiled pasta to the sauce and mix well, then garnish with the sliced olives.
