Original steps

  1. Peel the zucchini and parboil them in a little boiling water.
  2. Drain the water, then slice the zucchini in half lengthwise.
  3. Carefully scoop out the centers and arrange them in an oiled baking dish or Pyrex.
  4. Stuff the zucchini with small pieces of black olives and place them on top of the scooped centers.
  5. Grate the cheddar cheese, place it over the zucchini with a little butter, and bake in the oven.
