Original steps

  1. Wash and chop the spinach. In a pot, sauté the minced onion, then add the soaked garlic, anise, cumin, and ground pepper, and sauté well.
  2. Add the tomato paste diluted with water and salt, then add the boiled chickpeas, and bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add the spinach over very high heat to preserve its nutritional value.
  4. Add the dill, lemon juice, and water if needed; cover the pot and leave over medium heat until cooked through.
