Original steps

  1. Prepare a cooking pot and add the grated onion (rubbed with salt and pepper), the minced garlic, and the rice or soaked chickpeas along with the chopped spinach; cook over low heat with the pot covered until the spinach absorbs all the liquid.
  2. Mix this mixture with the minced meat (2-3 tbsp of osag), then transfer it to a Pyrex dish.
  3. Whisk 4 eggs with salt and pepper, pour them over the spinach, and drizzle 2 tablespoons of oil or ghee on top.
  4. Place in a medium-heat oven until cooked through and the top is golden brown.
