Original steps

  1. Parboil the medium-sized cubed potatoes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the small onions, whether whole or sliced.
  3. Prepare a tomato sauce seasoned with salt, cumin, cinnamon, vinegar or lemon juice, and the minced garlic, mixing well.
  4. Pour the potatoes into the mixture, stir, cover, and leave over low heat until cooked through.
