Original steps

  1. Cut the potatoes into slices or cubes.
  2. Fry them in oil and set aside on paper towels.
  3. Sauté the onion in oil in another pot over low heat, then add the minced garlic and the broth seasoned with salt and cumin.
  4. Add the fried potatoes to the broth, cover, and leave over low heat until the potatoes are cooked and the broth has mostly absorbed.
